Every time I watch Pretty in Pink, in addition to hoping this time Andie chooses the Duck Man, I always think the dress she wears to the prom will be better than I remembered it. But she never chooses Duckie, and the dress never gets better.
I did, however, learn something new on this viewing. Ellen [...]

My movie-watching has slowed down somewhat, but here’s what I’ve seen since my last movie post:
Stardust- I quite enjoyed it, but I would have liked it more had it been about 20 minutes shorter. If you know me, you know I’m not into the battle/fight scenes. They’re there to create excitement and suspense, but they [...]
I think I know…

No Country for Old Men: Fantastic. There were scenes that were so tense, I could’t take it in silence so I had to squeak-scream.
Thank You for Smoking: Great satire. Katie [...]

I was going to do a quickie review of the documentary I Like Killing Flies, which I watched today, but when I searched for the accompanying picture to post, I came across someone else’s review which reflected my thoughts pretty closely, so, you know, no need to reinvent the wheel.
