I think I know…

…why I insist on finishing this book that I said I would shut up about, but clearly I’m not shutting up about it yet.  I’m pretty sure I’m using it as an excuse to watch what I’m sure is the equally insufferable movie adaptation starring Hilary Swank.  Gag.  I was just at Netflix updating my [...]

Still torturing myself

I’m still reading that book, even though it’s not getting any better.  I can’t stand it for long periods at a time, but I read a chapter or two each night before I go to sleep.

Day off

I hate when I’ve had a day off and suddenly it’s after 8pm, and I have no idea what I did with my day.  I’m pretty sure I didn’t accomplish anything.  I did a few things, but not enough.

Local Yokel

All anyone can talk about around here is the snow.  The local news this morning was about almost nothing else.  They interviewed some of the few people who were out and about, and… I just don’t understand how they find these people.  It’s typical of local news, and I guess I find it amusing, but [...]

I’ve watched some movies since last I checked in here.  I don’t feel like doing even quick-read reviews, so I’ll tell you quickly whether I liked them.
No Country for Old Men:  Fantastic.  There were scenes that were so tense, I could’t take it in silence so I had to squeak-scream.
Thank You for Smoking:  Great satire.  Katie [...]
